about

Floor Model, the sole (barely) full-length album released by Stapler, was released in 1999 after several weekends of recording at ESR studios in Port Washington, Long Island. While delusions of grandeur faded quickly, word around the playground - and the few real music reviews that were written - gave Stapler some props.

about

Stapler Queens, New York

Stapler started as a duo (Seth Ditchik / Paul Graziano) in Queens, NY, playing a few songs in Paul's basement, ca. 1995. John had played with Paul in 1994 for a one-off project, Papa Jode. Together, they made loud and vaguely melodic "highly amateurish"* music for a few years before Seth posted bail and deftly fled to Boston, MA.
